The Nambucca Roosters are fast becoming a force to be reckoned, just in time for the finals. The side beat the South Grafton Rebels by 2 points in last night’s group two clash.

AXEMEN DEFEAT BELLINGEN DORRIGO
The Orara Valley Axemen have defeated the Bellingen Dorrigo Magpies by 32 points in round 9 of Group Two Rugby League. Coach Kevin Neighbour says he’s happy his team are finally putting some impressive points on the board.

COMETS CELEBRATE 50 YEARS
The Coffs Comets will celebrate 50 years of competing in group two rugby league this weekend, with a reunion of hundreds of past players. Players from as far back as the first 1965 team will attend to celebrate the milestone.

NORTH COAST REP SIDE SELECTED
The Mid North Coast will field a strong side for the rugby league Country Championships at the end of the month. The representative team will be led by former World Cup back rower, Matt Shipway.

COFFS SMASHES NAMBUCCA IN GROUP 2
To round two of Group Two league now, and the South Grafton Rebels have taken out Macksville, and the Orara Valley Axemen beat Bellingen Dorrigo. While the Ghosts came out on top against Sawtell, and the Coffs Comets smashed Nambucca in a 36 nil hammering.

WOOLGOOLGA SHARES GROUP 2 LEAD
A series of upsets has forced an unexpected reshuffle in Group 2’s top four. Orara Valley maintains it’s place at the top of the table, but it’s now sharing it with Woolgoolga.
