    Following the weekend’s Wests Knock Out rugby league competition, the Group 4 representative team has been announced. Some familiar faces have been chosen, however a couple of star players didn’t make the cut this time around.

    In a bid to get the edge for this year’s Greater Northern rugby league championships, Group 4 will tackle Newcastle’s runners-up from last season in a trial tomorrow. The match, to be played in Tamworth, is the first chance for players to impress coaches.

    Group 4 Rugby League has announced a representative squad of more than 40 players, ahead of the 20-16 season. The boys will take part in a series of training sessions, and compete in a trial match against the Macquarie Scorpions, before the final cut is made.
