A 17-year-old Lismore student is a step closer to reaching her ultimate sporting goal, after being named in the New South Wales under 21s hockey side. Taquira McGrath is the youngest player selected to represent the side at the national championships in July.

CENTRAL COAST TALENT TO SHINE AT U18 HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Central Coast’s talent has again shined through as four players have been selected to represent the state in hockey’s Under 18s Australian Championships. Michael Taylor, Joel Tweedie, Ayden Hutchinson and Kael Webster will take to the field in Tassie this April, but they won’t all be on the same side.
