SPORTS FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
The Central Coast Sports Federation has announced its finalists for 2016. The star-studded line up for Sportsperson of the Year includes four Olympians, two NRL players, as well as the World number two in Moguls skiing.

Umina Ironwoman Jemma Smith won an incredible seven gold medals at the recent World Lifesaving Titles in the Netherlands. To cap an incredible year, she’s now been named the Surf Lifesaving Australia’s Young Athlete of the Year.

SMITH HONOURED TO CAPTAIN AUSTRALIAN YOUTH TEAM
There’s more good news for Central Coast athletes, with Tim Schofield and Brad Woodward named on the Open Team for the World Lifesaving Championships in the Netherlands. As we reported last night, 17 year-old Umina star Jemma Smith, will captain the National Youth team.
