MID NORTH COAST SWIMMERS WIN BRONZE AT PACIFIC SCHOOL GAMES
Two Mid North Coast swimmers have shone in the pool, at the Pacific School Games in Adelaide. Port Macquarie’s Mekayla Everingham won bronze in the 50 metre breaststroke, Kempsey’s Mark Thurgood also touched third in the 400 metre freestyle. 18-year-old Thurgood is yet to compete in the 400 metre Individual Medley. A driver had a lucky escape, when their car burst into flames on the Pacific Highway at Kempsey around 10:30 this morning.
