    SPRING RACING NOT OVER FOR THE MID NORTH COAST

    The spring racing action hasn’t finished for the mid north coast, with the $25,000 Kempsey Cup running tomorrow at Warwick Park Racecourse. The top weight is 7-year-old bay gelding, Storm Ahead. The Armidale-trained horse has drawn barrier three and will carry 58.5-kilograms with Raymond Spokes onboard. The cup will start at 4:40pm.   (No Audio)

    Police are appealing for information after 15 firearms, including two single barrel shotguns, were stolen from a home near Kempsey. Between 4 o’clock Saturday morning and 5am Monday, a house on Ronella Drive at Yarravel was broken into and a gun safe ransacked. A number of hunting knives and ammunition were also taken.
