WORK BEGINS ON FINAL LISMORE BASE HOSPITAL UPGRADE

MAN AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER BEING PINNED UNDERNEATH CAR
A 68-year-old man has been airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital after being pinned underneath his car at Lawrence, south-west of Maclean, this morning. Emergency services were called to the property at 11:30. It’s believed the car he was working on fell off the jacks. He’s in a stable condition. (NO VIDEO)

MAN BITTEN BY EASTERN BROWN SNAKE NORTH OF KYOGLE
A man has been airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital after being bitten by an eastern brown snake north of Kyogle this morning. Paramedics treated the 60-year-old with anti-venom on a rural property at Grevillia. He’s in a stable condition. (NO VIDEO)
