DROP IN PROPERTY CRIME DESPITE REPORTS OF THEFT FOLLOWING LISMORE FLOODS
Richmond Police say there’s been a drop in property crime… despite reports of theft following the flood disaster. Since March, the rate of offences has decreased by 14 per cent across the district. There has been increased patrols and CCTV has been restored in Lismore’s CBD (NO AUDIO)

With many flood affected residents in the Northern Rivers getting ready to return to their houses, they are now desperately needing comforts to call it a home. Lending a hand to those in need – the Hunter Valley Resort has donated dozens of beds with the help of the community.
