There’s less than 24 hours to go before racing returns to Lismore Speedway for the opening night of the new season. Organisers are thrilled to be back – admitting they would have remain closed indefinitely if Queensland’s border didn’t expand to include the Northern Rivers.

For five months, Lismore’s Speedway has been at a standstill. Organisers today announcing they’ll be back to full throttle later this year but only if the State Government scraps its 500 person cap on public gatherings.
