FLASH FLOODING CAUSES HAVOC IN LISMORE THIS AFTERNOON
Far North Coast residents had hoped the worst was over – but a sudden downpour caused havoc in Lismore this afternoon, triggering flash flooding. Cars have been submerged, and the SES performed several rescues, including one at a local pre-school. Tonight, homes and businesses remain at risk.

CLIMATE PROTESTORS CLOSE LISMORE’S BALLINA STREET BRIDGE THIS MORNING
Traffic was at a crawl through Lismore this morning with climate protestors blocking the Ballina Street Bridge. Police established detours while two Extinction Rebellion protestors were escorted down from on top of the bridge. No charges or fines have been issued. (NO AUDIO)
