Lismore’s struggling Italo-Australian Club has been thrown a lifeline by a Sydney-based soccer club. Members of Club Marconi have voted overwhelmingly in favour of merging with the local icon, which is celebrating its 60th birthday this year. POLICE INVESTIGATING AFTER THREATS MADE TOWARDS EAST LISMORE SCHOOL
An East Lismore school went into lockdown this morning, after a man allegedly made threats over the phone. Officers were called to Wyrallah Road Public School around midday and searched the grounds, but found nothing suspicious. The lockdown was lifted and no one was injured. Police are investigating.
