CATTLE PRODUCERS URGED TO LOOKOUT FOR MUD SCOURS FOLLOWING RECENT CASES
Local cattle producers are being encouraged to lookout for the potentially fatal mud scours – following recent cases in the Lismore area. Outbreaks of the bacterial disease usually happens in cooler conditions when mud sticks to pasture. Signs of the disease varies from fever to diarrhoea, which can result in dramatic weight loss. ELECTRIC MISS WINS RACE 4 AT LISMORE MEET YESTERDAY
There were some big wins at the Lismore Turf Club yesterday. Four-year-old filly Electric Miss initially struggled on her home track but fought her way to the front in race four. She took out the win in the Byron Bay Pork Class 1 Handicap. Darren Graham-trained Dragon Pursuit came in a close second.
