Clear skies greeted revellers as the gates opened at the 131’st North Coast National in Lismore this morning. TWO CAR CRASH CLOSES ROTARY DRIVE

ACCUSED FRONTS COURT OVER ALLEGED SYRINGE HOLD-UP
A man accused of robbing a Goonellabah pharmacy last Sunday, has briefly faced court. 55 year old American man Richard Smith is charged with armed robbery, after allegedly threatening staff with a syringe while demanding drugs. Smith was refused bail in Lismore Local Court today. The matter will return to court in December. (VISION ONLY)

POLICE CONSTABLES CHARGED ON THE FAR NORTH COAST
Two North Coast police officers have been charged, following allegations an 8-year-old boy was left in the back of a paddy wagon for almost an hour at the Coraki Police Station in April. The senior constables were served future court attendance notices yesterday. They are expected to appear in the Lismore Local Court next month.
