    Police are working to formally identify a woman, who’s body was found near Maitland yesterday. A kayaker made the discovery in the Hunter River at Lorn, at around 11:30am. The area was examined by forensic specialists, before the Water Police and Rescue Squad removed the body. A report is being prepared for the coroner.
