He dominated the early stages of last year’s world tour – now Central Coast surfer Matt Wilkinson has been rewarded for his efforts, named Australia’s best male surfer for 2016. Peter Crawford was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame, while world champion Tyler Wright took out the women’s title.
