MAN FALLS INTO A FIRE AT WEDDING RECEPTION
A 28-year-old man suffered serious burns to his back when he fell into a fire at a wedding near Forster last night. Emergency crews were called to the Whoota property at about 8:30. The man was flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter for treatment, and was later released.

A Sydney man is missing, feared drowned, in a lake at Tuncurry on the mid north coast. The 32-year-old was fishing with his son when he jumped into the water to retrieve the child’s shoes, but was swept away by a strong current.
