Teams in the green and gold NRRRL competitions entered round 2 on the weekend, with some very close scores. In the gold competition, Ballina dominated Marist Brothers, and Northern United defeated Mullumbimby… Inside the bubble, it was a close game between Bilambil and Cudgen, and an even closer match when Tweed Coast took on Murwillumbah.

Murwillumbah Mustangs will face Tweed Coast in the major semi-finals of the NRRRL next weekend. After defeating Cudgen Hornets 24 to 12 yesterday at Ned Byrne Oval.
