O’DONOVAN APPEAL DISMISSED: 10-MATCH BAN TO STAY
Newcastle Jets striker Roy O’Donovan has failed to have his ban reduced, after an independent FFA Appeal Committee dismissed his appeal overnight. The Jets player will remain suspended on the sidelines for 10 matches, after coming into contact with Victory keeper Lawrence Thomas in the 93rd minute of last season’s A-League Grand Final.
