NEWCASTLE PORT SEES GROWTH IN CEMENT, STEEL & MINERAL EXPORTS
Newcastle Port achieved significant growth beyond the coal export sector in 2018, with an 11 per cent increase in cement handling and a 21 per cent increase in steel and mineral exports. STOCKTON REMEMBERS HARRY ‘ROWLEY’ ROWLATT
The Stockton community has bid a fond farewell to the local surf club’s longest-serving lifesaver, following his death. Harry ‘Rowley’ Rowlatt joined the service in 1944… among his many achievements, rescuing several people in the 1955 Maitland floods. Harry Rowlatt was 92. (AUDIO IN PARTS)
