The latest figures from the Bureau of Health shows the Northern Health District has coped well with patient demand, despite the region’s challenges. While COVID-19 outbreaks and flood events wreaked havoc on the health network, the health district is ahead of the many in the state.

NORTHERN NSW COVID19 UPDATE
Covid hospitalisations have remained steady in the Northern Health District overnight, with 18 people now receiving care. Case numbers have increased slightly – the region recording 234 new infections. Tweed, Lismore and the Clarence Valley have the most cases. (NO AUDIO)

SLIGHT DIP IN COVID19 INFECTIONS IN NNSWLHD
There’s been a slight dip in Covid cases across the Northern Health District – the region recording 255 new infections, overnight. Lismore (60), The Tweed (51) and Ballina (47) accounted for the majority of cases. Hospitalisations also remain steady with 22 people now receiving care – one, is in ICU. (NO AUDIO)

Covid19 infections have dipped slightly in the Northern Health District. More than 380 (388) new cases were recorded in the latest reporting period. Hospitalisatons were stable – with 44 people infected receiving treatment. Three people are in intensive care. (NO AUDIO)

NORTHERN NEW SOUTH WALES COVID19 UPDATE
The number of Covid cases continues to rise in the Northern Health District. 462 new cases were recorded overnight. Hospitalisations are also increasing, with 48 people now in care, two of those, in ICU. The majority of the infections were recorded in the Tweed, Lismore and Clarence Valley regions.
