CLOSE GAME FOR CASINO AND MULLUMBIMBY
Returning to rugby league now and in the NRRRL it was a close second game of the season, with Casino beating Mullumbimby in a 24-18. The hot competition on field was no match for the scorching conditions, forcing teams to take an early break off field.

A new player points system will be enforced on NRRRL clubs next season to encourage loyalty over money. The decision comes after a number of North Coast clubs have imported NRL players into the league.
