Northern United is rearing to go after last year’s N-triple R-L season was cut short. Rain, hail or shine, the Dirawongs commenced pre-season training at Lismore today ahead of the season kicking off later in the year.

CUDGEN HORNETS BITTERSWEET VICTORY
It’s been a bittersweet end for one NRRRL team this season…the Cudgen Hornets crowned the winners, but couldn’t play the Grand Final match. The undefeated team hasn’t won the competition in 15 years.

Officials are still grieving the cancellation of the NRRRL season. Despite being able to hold off finals rounds until October, the season has come to an end.
