Teams in the NRRRL have played their first round of the split green and gold competitions. In the Gold comp, Marist Brothers beat Casino, while Ballina was too strong for Mullumbimby. Inside the bubble in the Green comp, it was close between Tweed Coast and Bilambil, and Cudgen fought hard for their win against Murwillumbah.
