Wauchope businesswoman Peta Pinson, confirming she’ll contest the July 29 by-election, after failing to topple Peter Besseling last year. She joins councillors Rob Turner and Sharon Griffiths in the running for the top job.

			 FEDERAL FUNDING FOR TIMBER BRIDGE REPLACEMENTSThree old timber bridges in the Hastings are in line for replacement, after Council secured $1.2 million in federal funding. The much-needed upgrades will improve safety and productivity in the Byabarra and Kendall areas.
