Port United has been knocked out of the Football Mid North Coast competition, after going down to cross-town rivals Port Saints in Saturday’s minor semi final. While the Camden Haven Redbacks are through to the grand final, after downing Wallis Lake 4-nil.

WALLIS LAKE TOO STRONG FOR PORT SAINTS
The Kempsey Saints have been eliminated from the football mid north coast competition after going down to Port United 2-1. While Wallis Lake is through to the major semi final, after beating the Port Saints by two goals.

TUNCURRY FORSTER GOES DOWN TO CAMDEN HAVEN
While in soccer, Port United drew with Old Bar, Port FC beat Taree, while Kempsey went down to Wallis Lake. Port Saints was held to a draw by Macleay Valley, while Camden Haven got the better of Tuncurry-Forster.

REDBACKS PROVING A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH
With seven back-to-back wins, the Camden Haven Redbacks are proving a strong contender to take out this year’s Mid North Coast premier league title. Coach Simon Hancox says the squad has only strengthened since last year, but won’t underestimate its opponents in the remaining nine rounds.
