    Macy Callaghan has advanced to Round Six at Surfest. In challenging onshore conditions, the Avoca teenager posted the highest individual score – an 8.77, finishing second behind Frenchwoman Johanne Defay, with former World Junior Champion Laura Enever eliminated from the contest. Callaghan will now face Victorian Nikki Van Dijk….with the winner guaranteed a Quarter-Final berth.

    Macy Callaghan dominated in her opening heat at Surfest today. The Avoca teenager, who claimed the prestigious Girls Pro Junior title for the second year, has advanced to Round Two of the Women’s draw. Fellow Central Coast surfer Jess Grimwood posted a two wave total of 11.53, but was eliminated from the event.
