Avoca’s Caleb Tancred notched the biggest win of his career at the weekend. The 17-year-old – who’s coached by Glenn Micro Hall – scoring a dominant win at the Sydney Pro Junior at Manly. His two wave total was 17 point-two-five, well clear of his nearest rival Kyuss King.

Bateau Bay surfer Jess Grimwood has fallen short of a finals berth at the Tweed Coast Pro. Grimwood got in some strong turns in her quarter final for a score of 11.1… but she was out-manoeuvred by Kobie Enright, who eventually finished runner-up overall. (no audio)
