Port Macquarie’s Matt Banting has been shown the door to the Quiksilver Pro in France, after a narrow quarter final loss to Keanu Asing. The 22-year-old needed a 6.55 wave to make the final four. But Banting fell agonisingly short of the Hawaiian’s final score of 13.04.
