BIRD FLIES SOUTH TO PLAY WITH THE BOMBERS
Nelson Bay AFL product Craig Bird will continue his career at Essendon next season, with the Swans trading him to the Bombers this morning. The 26-year-old was part of Sydney’s 2012 premiership win, but had limited opportunities this year. He played 137 games for the club.
