    Police are working to determine how a motorbike rider was injured in an accident west of Coopernook this morning. Emergency services found the 19-year-old man shortly before 7 o’clock in a ditch – suffering serious head and leg injuries. He was treated by paramedics before being airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
