THE ENTRANCE CHANNEL DREDGE REMOVED FOR SUMMER
Residents remain concerned after dredging equipment was removed from The Entrance Channel this week. The state government had initially indicated 60,000 cubic metres of sand would need to be cleared. Hundreds of residents at The Entrance have signed a petition, fearing their local Commonwealth Bank branch may not reopen. The CBA maintains the closure is only temporary – but it won’t be trading again for at least another three months.

The call has gone out for Central Coast artists to design a new signature statue for The Entrance. The Big Pelican will need to stand five metres tall in Memorial Park.
