			 UMINA BEACH WOMEN’S FOOTBALL PREMIERSUmina Beach has claimed Central Coast Football’s women’s premiership. The Eagles led 1-nil at half time before Gosford fought back. Tied 2-all after 90 minutes, the match went into extra time. Umina claiming the silverware 4-2 in a penalty shootout.

			 WOMAN HOSPITALISED AFTER UMINA BEACH CRASHA woman has been airlifted to hospital, following a two car crash at Umina Beach this morning. The 25-year-old was trapped inside her vehicle for after the collision shortly before 11am. The Careflight chopper was called to Ettalong Oval and she was transported to Royal North Shore with leg and chest injuries.

			 GARRY MENSFORTH NAMED SURF LIFE SAVING LIFE MEMBERUmina Beach surf life saver Garry Mensforth has been named the Central Coast branch’s newest Life Member. Qualifying for his bronze medallion in 1975, Garry has been volunteering ever since. Over the years, he has managed elite surf sport teams, nippers, and is an active member of the branch’s investment committee. (VISION ONLY.)

			 ELDERLY WOMAN STRUCK BY CARAn elderly woman has been airlifted to hospital, after she was run over by a car at Umina Beach this morning. The 96-year-old suffered head and leg injuries, when she was struck on a driveway outside her home. She was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
