    It’s one of sport’s great rivalries – the Wallabies versus the All Blacks. The Kiwis have well and truly had the upper hand in recent years, so the Australian team is using a special training camp in Newcastle to go back to basics, and try and turn the tide.

The team will hold training camps in both Newcastle and Cessnock beginning at the end of the month, in preparation for the Bledisloe Cup.     FORMER WALLABY TERRY CURLEY DIES AGED 78

    The Hunter rugby community is mourning the passing of former Wallaby, Terrence ‘Terry’ Curley. Born in Newcastle, Terry played for Wanderers before being selected by New South Wales and Australia in 1957. He made his test debut as an 18-year-old against the All Blacks, and went on to earn 11 caps. Terry Curley was 78.
