MAN CHARGED AFTER SHOOTING WOMAN ON MID NORTH COAST
A man has been charged after allegedly shooting a woman on the Mid North Coast this morning. Officers were called to Hastings Street in Wauchope just after 7:40 following reports of a domestic incident. The 31-year-old man was arrested and taken to Port Macquarie Police Station.

EMERGENCY CREWS CALLED TO CAR ON FIRE AT WAUCHOPE
Emergency crews were called to a fire at Wauchope overnight. Fire and Rescue arrived just after midnight to find a car opposite Timbertown well alight. They battled the blaze for about an hour to ensure it didn’t spread. The car was completely destroyed. (VISION ONLY)

GINGER CREEK FIRE CAUSING DAMAGE TO OXLEY HIGHWAY

POLICE INVESTIGATING OVERNIGHT FIRE AT WAUCHOPE GOLF COURSE
Police are working to determine the cause of a fire at Wauchope Country Club overnight. Emergency services arrived just after 9pm, to find a pile of tree branches on the fairway engulfed in flames. The blaze was contained around midnight, causing only minor damage. Nobody was injured. (VISION ONLY)

YOUNG WOMAN ESCAPES INJURY IN HIGHWAY ROLLOVER
Emergency services were amazed when a young woman escaped a single-vehicle crash without injury, south of Wauchope today. The 18-year-old told police she lost concentration, causing her car to roll twice into oncoming traffic before it landed on its roof. Thankfully, no other cars hit her vehicle.
