BOY INJURED DURING SCHOOL LEAGUE GAME
A 12-year-old boy has suffered a suspected neck injury, after being tackled during an inter-school rugby league game at Hawks Nest. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter says he was tackled by an opposition player while playing at Myall Park. The extent of his injury is unknown. He was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.

MAN FLOWN TO HOSPITAL AFTER FLYING FOX FALL
A man has been left with suspected spinal injuries, after falling several metres from a flying fox at Bangalow this afternoon. Westpac Rescue Helicopter paramedics stabilised the 29 year old at the scene, before he was flown to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
