$13.5 MILLION FOR ROAD UPGRADES ON THE MID NORTH COAST
Roads across the Mid North Coast are set for an upgrade thanks to a $13.5-million funding boost from the federal government. MidCoast Council will receive the funds for road rehabilitation, over the next four years. Taree and Wingham are all set for road recovery commencing late April. (AUDIO IN PARTS)

WINGHAM CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Wingham, with the annual Christmas Street Carnival getting underway tonight. The event is put together by Wingham’s Chamber of Commerce, and there’ll be a variety of market and food stalls, as well as music and activities for the kids. SNAKE SEASON HAS STARTED AND ANIMALS ARE IN DANGER
As the summer months heat up, residents are being warned to prepare for snakes coming out of hibernation. It’s only the first week of December, and one Wingham vet has seen a spike in the number of pets suffering snake bites.

Wingham Beef Exports is in the running for the ultimate award in agricultural excellence and innovation.
